Designer Bio

Born in the Dominican Republic, Maria moved to the U.S. in 1990. Her love for the arts began at an early age induced by her mother and influenced by an innovative and creative extended family. Her first artistic expressions were displayed in literature, and her ability to describe emotions and events increased her curiosity for presenting those thoughts through images.

Always with a genuine interest for learning, Maria’s enthusiasm for design provided her with the opportunity to study and gain knowledge on good practices and technical aspects of Website Design, as well as experience to implement her abilities. The attention in the subject made her obtain a certification as Internet Webmaster. Maria extended her knowledge and formal education in other areas of design obtaining a degree in Graphic Design, graduating Magna Cum Laude from The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale in FL. During this time she was able to showcase her work in exhibits at the Mark K. Wheeler Gallery and at the Greater Ft. Lauderdale Convention Center.

Maria is currently filled with experiences and working in different freelance projects. Her Latin-American roots have allowed her to easily work in a diverse market. The reliable and distinctive customer service she provides is a statement of loyalty to her clients. An exploratory spirit keeps her interested in learning new design trends, informed about the latest industry updates, and focused on the greatest small details. Her passion for design and art in general is one of the motivations for Maria to keep striving for quality… and be committed to provide creative excellence.
